About Brookie’s Cookies

Hey y’all! I’m Brooke or the “Brookie” of Brookies Cookies. Fun fact- my parents gave me that nickname when I was little and it has stuck ever since! I’m a born a raised Baltimorean that is obsessed with all things FOOD. My love and passion for food started at a very young age; I remember my mom sitting me on the counter while she would cook dinner for the family. She’d give me a bowl with water and flour and I’d “cook” alongside of her.

Ever since then I’ve always been in the kitchen- whether it be cooking meals for my family, working as a pastry chef at a hotel, or throwing dinner parties for friends, the kitchen has always been my happy place. When I’m not in the kitchen, I live a pretty active lifestyle. I enjoy working out, going hiking, boating and wakeboarding in the summer, and in the winter, going up to my family’s vacation house in Deep Creek to snowboard. Another fun fact- everyone in my family snowboards, even my parents, and they’re both over 60 years old!

I am a self proclaimed crazy cat lady, I have 3 rescues (Scout, Layla, and Oliver) and I consider them my children.

I started this business because I wanted to share my passion with the world and turn a dream into reality. I am so thankful that I get to share this passion with each and every one of you. The constant love and support from all my friends, family, and customers has humbled me since day one–and is the reason why I continue to do what I do. I’m just trying to make the world a sweeter place, one cookie at a time!
